ps3 looks preety good and i particularly like the chrome. but i like the psp better but thats expected from a portable. Im glad they chose a disc slot as aposed to a tray. sometimes if you dont put the disc on the tray right it could jam
The disc slot can cause more problems then a tray can. I worked at a Best Buy and the cd players that have the slot, which is like 98%, have real problems with the slots sometimes. The get crammed with dirt and it accumilates over time. I forsee a lot of PS3 owners having issues with gunked up cd slots!
Dax you could be right but im prety sure that 98% of cd players arent slot loaders. its probably the other way around. Unless you were talking about those found in cars.
The PS3 is a brilliant design, i’m a designer myself and i think they have done a brilliant job of maintaining that sony look and also making it look like next gen.

Dax part of the reason the disk slots at best buy break is because hundreds of people go into best buy everyday, adults and kids alike, and play with the cd players carelessly because they dont own them.
