Space Invaders Human Stop Motion

Space Invaders is really making the rounds these days in the public performing art department. 67 people sat down, moved around musical chair style for 4 hours to recreate a 3 minute stop-motion animated Space Invaders sequence at the Belluard festival (June 24, 2006). The result is surprisingly smooth and they pulled it off well with every detail from the game. I could think of an easier way to execute this without the pain-staking task of stop-motion. But hey, it’s all in good fun.
