PSP to TV

Nyko has designed a peripheral for the PSP that allows you to view your PSP on a TV. For $80 the black device will clamp on your PSP and scan the screen like a camera which is then transferred to your TV via standard video cables. To me the device looks like a welder’s mask from this angle and I don’t really like the idea of a blown up, degraded image on a TV if the quality is insuperior.
There’s also the PSP on TV device which works the same way but if Sony releases an updated UMD format that will also play directly on your TV then that would change the PSP to TV device market for good..
