Half Life 2: Episode 2 On the XBox 360 and PS3

hl2ep1_box.jpgValve’s Gabe Newell has just let the world know that Half Life 2: Episode 2 is going to be released on the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC at the same time. Not only that, the PS3 and Xbox 360 version will also contain Half Life 2 and Half Life: Episode 1 because the console users haven’t had the luxury of playing the previous versions like the PC users have. All of the above platforms will also include a puzzle game called Portals and Team Fortress 2 which was a 1990′s multiplayer game. So for those who own an XBox 360 or plan to buy a PS3, you can expect the entire Half Life 2 package in one go. I myself am curious to see what Episode 2 will look like on a next-gen console or DirectX 10 video card on the PC – if that’s what it will be solely developed on. Will there be major improvements? Is my question.
