Game Informer Developer Survey

Submitted by on July 25, 2006 – 6:32 pmNo Comment

0596000ZZZZZZ_.jpgGame Informer has conducted a survey to anonymous game developers asking them numerous questions pertaining to developing on the new consoles, and which system they’re all giddy over. When asked which system they’re most excited for, the XBox 360 had the highest rating out of the current and next-gen consoles. This last question is almost opposite to the first one which is “are you excited for the Wii?”. This implies that they’re certainly happy to play the Wii but are more excited to develop for the XBox 360. That is not to say the margin was quite small, but the 360 is more exciting to develop games for apparently. Perhaps this is because the 360 has been out the longest and the Developers are getting used to the tools and performance levels of the console.
