E3 Cancelled

According to Next Generation, the ESA has decided to downsize the highly popular E3 event in its current form. Why would the industry downsize the event that gets gamers excited about new hardware and games? Well according to the ESA a lot of the big exhibitors were pulling out of E3. It seems developers were tired of spending millions on E3 that they never recouped.

What something like this for the industry at large is anyone’s guess, but a lot of crazy people feel that the gaming industry is headed for another crash. While this is very unlikely to occur, the end of an event as big as E3 will only fuel that fire.

ESA president, Doug Lowenstein is expected to make an official announcement within the next 48 hours to sort out what is true and what is speculation. Thats ok, we will start our own E3. Does anyone out there have a garage with about 5 million square feet?
