Atari’s Industrial Design Drawings

When I saw these very old Atari arcade concept sketches I thought wow, it’s interesting to look back and see how designs like these from a 1970′s Artist have influenced future arcades and possibly consoles. Some of these sketches are actually pretty cool from a design perspective too, like this one titled Armageddon. Further observation reveals that all the models in the sketches are female and they aren’t even playing the games. Are they there to help sell the idea to the boss?
