Water-Cooled XBox 360
So what price would you pay to keep your cool 360, cool? Would you pay $394.99? The price of the core version itself. If you have the money to burn you could front for a sweet water-cooled Exos LT cooling system from Koolance! Right off the bat they disclaim that “…Any manufacturer warranty on the Xbox 360 is voided by installing or using this product…” Well alright then, so if you choose to use this add-on, prepare to abuse your life savings in a box by ruining that precious life-warranty.
The kit requires “some assembly” like taking apart the 360 to attach some colourful neon-blue hoses to some of the 360′s parts, then snapping it back together. Perhaps that IKEA furniture assembly we’ve all done will come in handy after all. Correct me if I’m wrong but wasn’t the major problem with the overheating PSU – not the Xbox itself? After all is said and done I’m sure this is a life saver, but I’d rather pay a service fee for someone else to do it for me.
