Vivendi CEO laments innovation

In an interview in this week’s MCV (the trade magazine for the UK interactive entertainment industry), Vivendi Games‘ CEO Bruce Hack says he is concerned about a lack of innovation and creativity in the gaming market, particularly with offerings for the next-gen consoles.
“I do have some mixed feelings about the move to next generation. I’m particularly worried about a lack of creativity in the market,” he says. “I looked around E3 and I saw too much of the same.”
Vivendi was formerly Vivendi Universal Games, and runs Blizzard Entertainment and Sierra Entertainment labels.
