Tiny Diggers – An iPad Construction Truck Game for Kids Age 2-5

There’s a prototype audio toy called Totally Amazing Mutant Ears for kids which was developed by ITP graduates and it looks like a riot. It takes any sound and distorts it in an alien-like fashion. You can play with the reverb, pitch, metallic and pitch-shifting effects to name a few. Some of the visual references for the toy included the Japanese Ultraman for the PS2 seen here, Akira and (Devo?). Let’s just hope there’s a volume setting as I wouldn’t want my kid’s eardrums ruined by alien sounds!
