New Game Movie: Game Boys
There’s a new video game movie in the making called Game Boys:
The story revolves around two thirtysomething video-game junkies recruited by the Department of Homeland Security to lead a geeky army of gamers in a battle against creatures that have come to life from a video game they have mastered.
Ok it may sound really bad at first, and maybe, most likely, it will be. But it’s all in how you work with what you have, how you present, isn’t it. C’mon I’m trying to salvage at least one good game flick here. The premise sounds like every other video game movie known to man and oozing with cheese then shot down by the gaming culture. Let’s just wait for that first trailer. Jerry Bruckheimer Films is going to be at the helm of this one. Can’t say I was a fan of Pirates of the Caribbean.
