MSNBC readers shoot down the PS3!

bigps3.jpg Considering all the good publicity Sony has been getting lately over its next gen console, oh wait that’s right they haven’t got any good publicity, my bad. Even so, it seems that the bad tidings keep coming for Sony. A ongoing MSNBC poll shows that 60% of its readers have no plans on purchasing the $499 PS3. The poll makes no mention of the pricier $600 version as it simply asks if you would pay $499 for the PS3.

Obviously polls can be very unscientific and flawed, but the underlying sentiment should not escape Sony’s ears. They have built up quite a large fan base yet they seem bent on pissing off gamers. I think a lot more gamers would have accepted the price point if they didn
