Jude Buffum: Pixel Painter

You’ve just got to love these pixel paintings by the artist Jude Buffum. They’re colourful, naive and entertaining to say the least. I got a good chuckle out of Jude’s descriptions as there is more to the images like policital issues and consumerism than just bright video games icons. The game figures are mere characters which set the stage for grandiose subjects like the oil wars (Donkey Kong) and Megaman fighting the "W" Administration. The canvas sizes are around 10×8 inches and are printed out in low-res right onto the canvas itself.
