Games of Summer…or lack there of

With summer now in full swing, it is the time of year that every gamer thoroughly hates. It is that time of the year when ZERO new games are released. Some may look at this as a dull time in gaming, but I am here with a message of hope. I personally look forward to this time of the year as a bit of a vacation from “required gaming”. I consider “required gaming” to be the long list of games you have play because they are the new, hot games of right now. These are the games that you get made fun of for not playing. The reason I love the summer so much is because I can go back and play games of the past year that I never had time to play. Through the year it’s hard to keep up with the trends and all the new games, so this is a great time of the year to play the games that YOU want to play. Don’t let the man tell you what to play! I know that I can’t wait to bust out some PS2 and Gamecube games I have missed out on this past year. What are you guys playing in this slow time of gaming? I would be interested to know. Who knows, you might make me want to check out some of your suggestions. I look forward to reading everyones’ thoughts on this.
