I love it when a game company listens to its fan base about the issues we complain about, and luckily Microsoft has heard our cries. Tonight around 2:00 a.m. Pacific Time, The Xbox spring dashboard update will become available.

This update includes over 125 tweaks and upgrades to what is already a solid navigation interface. The most noticeable is the addition of active downloading. Starting tomorrow you will be able to queue up to 6 downloads from live marketplace. You will also be able to play any arcade or 360 games while you download, an annoyance that I personally suffered through many times.

Other parts of this update include:

bullets/bullet_purple.pngImproved DVD movie playback for a smoother, higher quality viewing experience, including additional VGA support.

bullets/bullet_purple.pngFull remote control features for Xbox Live Marketplace videos allow gamers to fast forward and rewind at various speeds (2X-16X) during all videos downloaded from Marketplace.
