125 New Features for 360 Dashboard? Um, not exactly…

I have very much enjoyed the latest Xbox 360 Dashboard update, despite it fixing or adding things that should’ve been included to begin with. It’s obvious a lot of work went into listening and giving customers what they really want.
That being said, I find it somewhat disingenuous that Microsoft employees, including Major Nelson, the guys at Gamerscore Blog, and whoever writes Xbox press releases, claim 125 “new features” were included in the latest Xbox 360 Dashboard update.
Has anyone bothered to actually read the list of purported “new” features?
I went through ALL of the features posted in the press release (which only has 120 items, by the way) and I counted up the number of items which are legitimately new and the number of items that are CLEARLY bug fixes (I gave MS the benefit of the doubt on several items that were ambiguous).
Final tally:
Bug Fixes: 58
New Features: 62
I dunno, I guess in wacky Microsoft marketing land (where Peter Moore lives) “Better support for Xbox 360 game disc recognition” and “Repaired playback stutter during certain films” are new features.
