Wii – Weyerhaeuser, same difference

I guess Nintendo was pretty apathetic about owning the domain name Wii.com. They didn’t even bother to approach the owners Willamette Industries or Weyerhaeuser to purchase the domain name. Either that or they were too late in the marketing department. That just goes to show how non-competitive Nintendo is in that sense, compared to Microsoft and Sony. They just don’t care, they have their fan-base and their great games. That’s all they need. I think if it were the other two game giants they would’ve offered millions for a console domain name.

I put the two company’s logos together. There’s a lot of similarities in there!
