The Wizard DVD
UUDDLRLRBAStart reminds us that the video game movie of the 80′s is coming out on DVD this 29th. Oh joy!
Fred Savage, Beau Bridges (who I saw a lot from working on Stargate last year) and Christian Slater dared to appear in this little movie called The Wizard way back in 1989. I remember it clearly – a young and distraught Fred Savage travels abroad for a LAN-like party to show off his skillz as a gamer. It stars classic scenes like the Power Glove and the most excellent game Double Dragon. Any movie that has Nintendo in it throughout the entire plot is going to be popular.
