Name that cartoon

hikozan.jpgI’m not sure what’s going here other than Zangief from Street Fighter pile driving a cartoon character. The question is what cartoon? Name it!

    Easy! The anime is “Lapyuta: Castle in the Sky” otherwise known as “Castle in the Sky” for it’s release outside of Japan. It is one of Miazaki’s classic films (Highly recommended — brought a tear to my eye). Zangief is pile-driving Dola, the leader of a gang of air pirates (they fly around in planes). The boy pictured there is Pazu, the male protagonist of the film. It must be noted that Dola is not even in this scene. The female protagonist of the film, Sheeta, has been obscured by the Dola/Zangief amalgamation.

    Wow, a bunch of smarties we are. Fast response. I actually have this flick but I havent seen it yet. I just finished watching My Neighbour Totoro though. I liked that one.
