Tiny Diggers – An iPad Construction Truck Game for Kids Age 2-5

“Fighting is the only thing I remember, I’ll do it…!” Ok so not the best lines but wow crap wow, this game looks slick. Lost Planet: Extreme Condition is a 3rd person Sci-Fi shooter developed and published by the good ol’ Capcom folks. They never let us down, do they? Supposedly it is coming out in December (in Japan), who the heck knows when we’ll be seeing it in North America.

The starring male role is played by a famous South Korean actor named Lee Byung-Hun, yes yes I see the resemblance now. I wonder if Lee would sport this animal around his neck in real life. Anyway I was blown away by the phenonmenal movie-like particle effects such as the explosions and the windy, blowy snow and glass. The monsters seem like they’d scare the crap out of me, oh and I loved the little details like the snow tracks the player made. Just take a look at these sweet game footage clips and you’ll see why I’m as giddy as a school boy. One thing I thought the playable E3 demo lacked was some dramatic music while you’re immersed in the action. It just seemed to quiet, you know? But that’s a minor thing compared to the scope of the game.
