Heavy Rain

Quantic Dream’s upcoming next-gen game Heavy Rain on the XBox 360 simply looks amazing. Quantic Dream was responsible for the innovative game Fahrenheit on the PC. Right now there isn’t any information on the gameplay or story, but check out these real-time screenshots from their site and this incredible just released real-time clip of a girl in a “casting call”. Given the success of Fahrenheit I’m sure we can expect to see some incredible stuff coming out of their next game.

I hope that the story is a hell of a lot better than Fahrenhiet/Indigo Prophecy was. The last hour or so of plot was just complete rubbish. The game spent all of this time developing such a great story only to end it on a completely stupid premise.

Hopefully they learn how to write an ending this time.

I’m bad, I actually didn’t play it right to the end. Probably about 3/4. I’m notorious for not finishing games for that reason though; they just start to disapoint me after a while! I hope that changes in next-gen. Next Generation, captivating story lines? I hope so.
