Game Ads: Losing Control

I can’t quite make it out but is that one of the new (or old) PS3 controllers with the tilt sensor doo-dad? If so, just what is this ad suggesting? Even if it’s not a new controller I guess this ad’s message is saying that you can control beautiful women with a PS2 game controller. Or – most women have umbilical cord-like PS2 controllers protruding out of their navals, why don’t you?

nah, man, this is the silver ps2-controller delivered with the silver edition of the ps2. you can see that cause the controller is missing the embedded circle-logo between the start- and the select-button as seen on many photos picturing the ps3-controller.

the ad itself is one of a gamers wet dreams: control the brunette via your ps2-controller. in my case, i can say this is exactly what i expect from the ps3: that for 600

It’s actually a Belgian magazine (http://www.che.be) Check the downloads/wallpaper section for more ads of the same campaign (it’s in Dutch though).

This is indeed an ad for the magazine and has actually nothing to do with games. You can compare the magazine to Maxim, only it’s much better
Even Belgian women like it (and get the humor of the ads – at least in Belgium they do)
