Wow! I have to say, some of these portable game system mockups are pretty good, some not so good. TechEBlog has a list complete with pics of game system mockups. The N64 and Jaguar (yes I used to own one!) are pretty cool. If this was in the news previously, forgive me for being out of the loop as I haven’t seen any of these fan-inspired mockups before. There’s also this very neat and fully operational portable PS2 where the guy plays games like GTA (in the dark for some reason) and watches TV shows. Although clunky, he gets full points for functionality and coolness factor. It looks like a gadget you’d see in a Sci-Fi movie used to uuh, check the stats on some heavy machinery or something.

I feel the love, man. Game companies need to hire some of these bright kids like Ben Heck to be their industrial designer or something.
