No ETA on EA

EA Games logo.jpgUpon looking back at my entries, it was two weeks ago that I had my interviews at EA. I’ve finally got some news on where I stand as a potential employee of EA. It appears that it has taken them this long to make a decision because there was a lot of shuffling, head counts around and internal hiring going down. Also, they were trying to fit me in where they could, so that required some time. One of the teams are really interested in hiring me as an Interface Designer, but the timing was just off. They hire a lot, and new positions come up all the time. So I’ll be considered for the next (external) one, hopefully. There’s about four separate campuses here in BC. I may have a lead next week with another team from a different campus which I haven’t met with yet. So all hope is not yet lost. Getting the right job is all about timing!
