To give you an idea of how far back computer graphics and animation go in TV and movies. Check out these archives complete with QT’s. This reminds me of that Dire Straits music video – “Money for Nothing”. It was the first computer character animated piece and it was considered ground breaking back in 1987! Another interesting bit of info about that music video is that it was created by the guys who started Mainframe Entertainment, here in Vancouver.
