Trees can play video games too

screenshot02.gifYes it’s true, you can play video games against trees. The game is called “Lumberjacked!” and it was created by the artist Dan Young. A motion sensor named the T.G.C.U., disguised as a plant, sits in a tree and detects the swaying movements through sensors. The T.G.C.U. device is hooked up to a laptop via some wires, these movements transfer to a “Super Tree” in the game.
tgcu03thumb.jpgThe object of the game is to chop the tree down with your Lumberjack, but the tree is constantly moving around avoiding death as per the motions of the real tree. This gives new meaning to the term “green thumbs” for video game-playing Botanists and Gardeners out there. Oh and for those who play this game as well.
