NFS: Most Wanted Demo Impressions
A rainy Saturday here on the west coast. Excellent day to play some games. I have to admit, I’m not much of a Need For Speed fan as they never did catch my interest. Nor am I one for racing games in general, actually. But I just tried the new NFS: Most Wanted demo and I gotta say, I @#$&$ loved it! It was awesome; fast paced, entertaining, smooth gameplay and very pretty. You must try it.
There were 3 cars to choose from and a couple of game modes. The vehicles were a Porsche, mustang and a Lexus. I loved the mode where you must outrun the cops for a certain amount of time to proceed. I also loved the time trial – where you’re motoring along and then the game stops instantly and zooms in on a cop that sees you. The commentary from the police was humorous and clever to say the least. It was more about cause and effect with them then just regular, monotonous “ok they’re speeding, let’s get him…” sort’ve deal. If I had an infraction, they’d let you know; like running over a mailbox or hitting another car.
I believe NFS: Most Wanted is coming out next week. Give the demo a try though, you won’t be disapointed. I want this game.
