I need a HDTV for my XBox 360, or vice versa
It had to be the Xbox 360′s doings, maybe just a little. I was in Best Buy this weekend to pick up a copy of War of the Worlds. Love the movie, watched it twice but I accidentally bought the full-screen version! How lame. I was in there floating around like a kid in a candy store, checking out all the latest and greatest. My wife was guiding the remote controlled Robosaurus around while I played with a Nintendo DS (for the first time). I was mesmerized with Mario Kart and then I heard this guy talking to himself in the corner over a loud speaker. I thought he was demoing a 360, but no, it was the Media Center PC. Drat. So I carried on and walked by the high-definition TV’s. I’ve never seen so many males loitering near HDTV’s like this before. I thought to myself that this must be the 360′s fault. I think the new gaming machine has opened more eyes to the depth and clarity that is 720p and 1080i. One particular aisle, in front of each HDTV, stood a sales clerk. He or she yammered on about what HDTV is all about and showcased the suckers like a Price is Right girl would a new dining room set. I listened in, carefully, and I have to say that Best Buy employees are more knowledgeable than Future Shop employees, hands down. My point in all this is that I
