I had this friend when I was a young lad who was a fanatical D&D player. He got me into the game briefly before my Mom went out of her way to prevent me from ever playing again. I think she heard on the news once that some kid killed himself because of the game – or something along those lines. I will never know if this was actually true, but that’s why she wouldn’t let me play anymore. It’s funny though because everyone pokes fun at D&D players.
