Schwarzenegger signs and Devin Moore’s Verdict
Recently I talked about the violent video game bill being passed by Leland Yee. It only needed Schwarzenegger’s signature. Well, he signed the bill. So it only means all violent games in California will probably have an “18+” sticker on them. I really don’t think this will stop kids from playing them. It will only give a heads-up to the parents who buy games for kids that the game is too “violent”. Who’s to say whether it will do any good or not.
Also, Devin Moore will be sentenced to death for the murder of three Police Officers. This was the gentlemen who’s partial blame for his actions was due to violent games:
“Moore confessed to the slayings, but his defense linked the killings to a childhood of mental and physical abuse and repeated playing of video games from the “Grand Theft Auto” series, in which players steal cars and shoot police.”
