Note to self: Don’t post game serial numbers online

We all know that PC and Mac games require CD keys to operate legally. If this system didn’t exist then you might as well call a game disc – the VHS tape. Ars Technica has a link to a Tiger Direct page which has a screenshot of a Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell serial number. Who knows if it’s a fake serial or Tiger Direct is acting Daft and somewhat vunerable. Perhaps a class action lawsuit could materialize. The thought of it is funny in this world where everything is copyright, trademarked and cease and desisted. I’m sure this employee is thinking of ways to erase a piece of history now. Here are a few suggestions for this person:
Note to self:
-Unplug the internet
-Quit your job at Tiger Direct ASAP!
-Take out a rather large bank loan
-Join the witness protection program
-Tell UbiSoft and their expensive Lawyers that you’re very sorry
-Become good buddies with Tom Clancy
-Move to a foreign country
