Gamer’s Offline And Online Lives

The BBC has an article titled: “In pictures: Online gamers unmasked” where photo journalist Robbie Cooper looks behind the avatars mask to reveal their creators.
A couple of paragraphs that stood out for me were:
“One player he met in the virtual world, Second Life, earns $70,000 a year creating female avatar clothing, he says.”
and “According to the robot tailor, the real money is in the female clothing market. Mr Cooper says that makes sense when one considers the hugely lucrative beauty and clothing market in the physical world.”
