virtuasphere.jpgAt first glance at this picture and the name of the product, I thought it was just a metal ball to walk around in like the circus people do. But no, it’s fully interactive with VR-type applications and games. The Virtusphere goes where you go. When you walk the sphere walks with you. The sphere senses your direction and speed and relays the computer that information accordingly. So you could be playing a first person game or walking down a replica of a famous museum in this bad boy. It’d be a little hard for everyone to have one in their homes; probably only suitable for arcades and organizations only. Very neat though. Imagine playing Nintendogs in this, where you could actually interact with the dog by taking him/her for a “real” walk.
