Going to the loo with Dungeon Siege 2
Everyday at work I see strange creatures like aliens, skeletons, green men you name it, walking around the film sets. Yesterday, before I left work I went to the bathroom and was startled to see this extravagantly customed character, which looked like a Uruk-hai (left) from Lord of the Rings, uhh.. relieving himself. I was quite taken back as it’s something you just don’t expect but I should’ve expected it. How do you pee in one of those outfits? I wondered. Doing your business next to an evil being is somewhat difficult let me tell you. I could only imagine a conversation next to one of those while you’re in there. “So uh, hey how’s it goin’?” I would probably say. “Aaarrrguugh” The reponse would most likely be.
The character in the loo was for Dungeon Siege 2, the movie based on the video game which has obvioulsy started shooting the scenes recently. It’s been here for a while now but I think they were creating the costumes and sets beforehand. I’ve noticed some of the costumes look strangely similar to Stargate’s. Or maybe that’s because it’s hard to differentiate a Sci-Fi/fantasy character from the next. I wish I could snap a couple of photos but I’m guessing they’d be taken down pretty quick. Next time I go to the bathroom I’ll anticipate the worst.
