The intelligent group of people behind Soda have been creating compelling and highly addictive interactive web-based applications and other projects since 1996. I remember experiementing with Sodaplay back in 1999.
Right now there’s Soda Zoo, Soda Constructor and Soda Race. For those who haven’t visited the site before, in Soda Constructor you are initially given a creature to build from but you can also start with your own from scratch. I won’t go into much detail but basically this “thing” you create reacts and behaves in a way one would in real-world senarios. The AI is really quite neat. The Soda Zoo is a collection of peoples creations and Soda Race is just that, you can compete in a race with your mechanical blob against others.
