cover13_09.jpgBeh! The latest issue of the new Wired won’t be mailed out to me until Sept. 1st, according to my Wired account info. Why do Canadians have to wait so long? Can someone answer this question? It’s already on the news stands, shouldn’t subscribers get it first. Isn’t that one of the perks of subscribing to a magazine. If someone in Canada has already recieved theirs. Let me know.

*Update. Wired came in the mail today. I’ll stop bitching now. I crack up every time I see the mailing address label on the shiny shink wrap package, which reads: “To: Sane Whitehouse”

Since when have I been sane?

i have a friend who gets Wired delivered and it also picks his ass that he has to wait at least 2 weeks longer for his delivery when i can pick it up at the shop as soon as it hits the stands in the US… not sure its a Canada issue as much as a delivery to Canada issue…

Well, now I know. Had I known prior I would’ve just continued to get it off the newsstands and paid the extra bit of cash.

While I don’t have a subscription anymore, someone in my office does. His issue was sitting on his desk fresh *last* Monday morning. Yes, in Canada. In Toronto, in fact. I can’t see why it would be any different to you.

Very odd. Wired! Are you listening? I want my Wired! Perhaps it’s because its my 2nd issue, but usually only the first issue takes a while to arrive. Hmph.
