Something Awful’s guide to BF2 is something to be read. For the folks who have not yet played the game and want to save some time – Mr. Falcon?, I highly recommend having a read through this comical commentary before your game arrives.

My favorite quote from his extensive guide:

Never Join a Squad! – Squads are composed groups of people who are so untalented and crummy at BF2 that they need help to simply survive. You are not like that! You’re a one man army! You’re a soldier capable of killing people so brutally that they will respawn in a game of Battlefield 1942.”

Kudos.

I found the SomethingAwful article to be one of the most useful ones that I have seen in a long time. It really is the truth about how people play games like Battlefield.

I cannot recount the times that I was left behind to run to the battle which felt like miles… anyone remember the map sizes in Soldner? I always ended up scamming a Lada to get me there usually too late :( .

There are so many people that play like he stated in the article that we should print it, ring bind it and call it the Bible of Online Games.
