On second thought

secondlife.jpgI quite enjoyed this entertaining article about Second Life on The Trees Are Normal Mapped by Lorka. I’ve never played the game but have seen others play. As a matter of fact I’ve never played any MMO game ever. Am I missing out? I think I don’t explore that genre because I would probably get too addicted and there isn’t enough time in a day for me. A lot of people say that don’t they? That and they don’t interest me as much, at least I don’t think they do. Maybe if I gave them a try I might like them. Full-time work consumes you though, there’s just no time. I feel as I get older I have less time for games which is sad because I used to play quite a bit and thoroughly enjoyed it. What with a career, responsibilites, I’m just not a kid anymore! I still enjoy playing some games and that won’t change.

A kid at heart I am, as they say.

I always find it a bit weird when people deny themselves the experience of playing for fear of beccoming addicted – it’s a *game*, not a drug! :)
Believing the hype is pandering to the squawky tabloid headlines.

Me, I’ve got Resi 4 on the Gamecube, Project Zero II on the XBox, Katamari on the PS2, WoW on the PC, all going at once, AND full time job, AND a full time social life, AND a blog, so there’s no excuse!

Runetotem, Horde, if you decide to join us..

Yeah you’re right. I should give it a go. I really want to try that Katamari game. Looks so cool, and how is RE4 on the Gamecube? I love that series.
