I could play with this interactive project by Michael Chang for hours. What it is:

“Drawing toy that produces parameterized organisms. Procedural animation allows the organisms to swim around in a virtual fluid environment interacting with each other.”

    1. The link works for me. I just launched it, sat there and played with it.
    2. This post is a year and a half old. Posts can’t stay current forever because people change their links. This one, however, is working, for me at least.
