Aeropaused: August 21st – 27th
A lot has happened this week on the intraweb and elsewhere. I setup an Aeropause newsletter for those who wish to receive updates on game give-aways, news and alerts. I also threw up a Forum’s section on the top. Getting a forum going is difficult. Nobody wants to chat if there’s nothing to chat about. So that will take some time. I was linkd’up yesterday by the Grand Daddy of game blogs: Joystiq. They chose to link this post I had entered on an interactive student project called ‘Manifest’. Google released their instant messenger and sidebar, both of which didn’t get the best praise they might have hoped for from the tech savy bloggers out there. The mega giant Fox bought the mega giant IGN. I had no idea IGN was worth the near 1 billion people claimed they were worth.
Everything seems like it’s slowing down on the Stargate’s with only 3 episodes remaining in production; for most people including myself. When I look back at my files I think geez, I created graphics for 17 episodes already? It went by fast. I am hoping, for myself when I finish this season that I can get some freelance work doing Playback for features or other TV shows here and there. We’ll see. Email me for Playback jobs. Stargate SG:1 the Alliance is due out soon supposedly. I think around October. I did an interview with Stargate-Gaming.com a week ago. It isn’t up yet as they’re building a new site. So you will see that conversation when they launch, soon.
