Spore

I can remember spending countless hours with Sim City when I was a kid on my Power PC. I was hooked. Will Wright has had many other games since the Sim City games including The Sims, SimEarth, SimAnt and SimCopter. Mr Wright now brings Spore to the table and I have to tell you, it sounds really good.
Create and evolve a lifeform from an organism to an intelligent being in order to expand to other planets and galaxies. One aspect that sounds very intriguing is that after you have evolved a creature of your own, you can share it with someone else online. That is to say you upload your creation, and someone else downloads it.
“The completely awesome part about that is that all of the creatures that you encounter will be creatures that someone else designed on his computer. Spore isn’t an online game, but it has some aspects of being one. Anybody who creates content in their version of Spore will have it automatically uploaded onto a master server (an optional feature) and then downloaded onto other computers running the game without ever having to worry about an interface, giving a near endless array of player created content.”
