So I’m about 50% complete on Grand Theft Auto – San Andreas for the PC. I hadn’t played the game on a console so it’s relatively new to me.

There are a few things that are a bit of a nuisance with the game, that I find hard to avoid. These are merely visual glitches though. It is that the water is always green, the sky has really bad banding/gradient issues and same goes with the fog. Is it my video card? I don’t think so. It’s a Geforce 6800GT. Is it like this for everyone? Or do I have to put up with swimming in green sludge the rest of the way. Perhaps way too much pollution?

That said, wow what a game. I love the little details of San Andreas the most. Like all the mini games you can play. You can have a game of Pool, race cars, arcade games, courier routes, horse track betting – the list goes on. I’m ever so excited to think just what GTA would be like on a PS3 or XBOX 360.

I love the way GTA is a game within a game. It’s its own little world, and like real life you can break things up with a game of pool, etc.
